Hire an attorney, not a caseworker.
I personally handle each case.
With 35 years of experience in bodily injury law, all over Georgia, Attorney Malcolm (Mike) Sullivan compiled his knowledge to come up with procedures on what to do in case you are in a car collision. Please keep in mind that this is for Georgia accidents only.
Stop - Do not leave the scene, no matter how minor the collision.
Make It Safe - Make sure you and your vehicle are not creating another hazard or endangering anyone else.
Always have the police come to the scene. Sometimes it takes days before you realize you are hurt. People do not think they are hurt because they are not bleeding and can walk. Injuries and pain can occur later and require medical treatment.
It is critical that you obtain as much information as possible.

Each Vehicle Involved
Take pictures of each vehicle involved in the collision, including the license plate. Make sure you get images of the scene and all injuries.
Do not admit anything! You may feel the accident was partially your fault, but you may later find out it was not legally your fault. The other driver or someone else may be at fault as well.
If you are injured, get treatment as soon as possible. Make sure you tell your doctor about all injuries and pain. Be truthful about this. Do not exaggerate nor understate your body's harm.
Hire an attorney as soon as possible. Time is of the essence. There are many legal actions that must take place and failure to do so may waive valuable legal rights and benefits.
